Do you support subdomains?
Yes, we support subdomains. The amount of subdomains is mentioned on the hosting plans.

 

What is a subdomain?
A subdomain is any term you want before your domain. For example you have a domain yourdomain.com and say you want to create another webpage. You can create a subdomain friends.yourdomain.com and it can be like a whole separate webpage. In essence it is a domain as well. So it is a very nice feature to have.

 

What is Disk Space?
This is the set amount (in megabytes) of files you can store on your server space.

 

What is Bandwidth?
Bandwith is the monthly transfer of data you are allowed.

 

What's Helm?
Helm is an advanced, easy to use automated control panel packed with many features, that lets you control and manage your website and email.

I already own a domain, can I transfer it to a hosting account with Zones Web Solution?
Yes you would have to change the name servers of your domain to the following:
ns1.zones.in
ns2.zones.in

 

What is an alias domain?
Alias domains will be pointing to the same webpages as your master domain is pointing to. For instance, yourdomain.com/index.htm and anotherdomain.com/index.htm is pointing to the same webpage "index.htm".

 

Can I upgrade my account?
Yes, you can upgrade to any of our packages simply by submitting a ticket to Sales Department at http://support.zones.in, with your account username and the package you wish to upgrade to. You only pay the difference in package prices to upgrade.

 

What happens if I exceed my monthly allowance?
You will receive an email from us asking you to either upgrade your account or purchase more bandwidth. You will have 5 days to respond to the email or your site may be terminated until the next calendar month when bandwidth totals are reset.
